Day 01 : Denpasar – Tambulaka – West Sumba ( L,D )
Upon arrive at Tambulaka Airport / West Sumba , you are welcome by our guide representative then transfer to Hotel ( MONALISA COTTAGES ) or similar to check in .afternoon Visit: Prai Ijing, Tarong, Waitabar Village near by Waikabubak, down to Local market of Waikabubak and stop at Algadri Artshop ( Best Collection of Sumba Antique in the City, return to hotel for afternoon coffee, dinner and overnight .
Day 02 : Waikabubak – Kodi Full Day Tours ( B,L,D )
After breakfast at Hotel Drive to Kodi Area for Visit: Tosi Village, Parona baroro Village, Rotenggaro Village and Ranggabaki Village, this place to see all the house are very high roof more than ten meters high. Lunch box will prepare on the beach, afternoon return to Hotel via Waitabula here along the way back to hotel we witness the Coffee plantation , dinner and over night at Hotel Monalisa.
Day 03 : Waikabubak – Wanukaka – Lamboya ( B,L,D )
After breakfast at hotel trip to Wanukaka for Visit Waigali Village to See the Andung (Scoultree) Praigoli Village to See the kajiwa Stone and Pasola Field, return to Marosi Beach on the Way stop at Waiwuang Village, Waru wora and Wunta laka village in this area the traditional houses are on the hilltop, lunch box will prepare at Kerewei Beach, return to Hotel for dinner and overnight at Monalisa Hotel.
Day 04 : Waikabubak – Anakalang – Mamboro Country Side ( B,L,D )
After Breakfast , Your guide will pick you up then start the tour to Anakalang Area for Visit: PASUNGA, ( Megalitic Tombs build on 1926 ) LAI TARUNG, To see the Hause of Marapu/ ancestor , GALU BAKUL Village to see The Royal tombs King of Anakalang ( Umbu Sawola ) then drive to Mamboro Country side and will stop at Some Village for visit: Manuakalada, Wawarongu and Tambera Village, your pick nic lunch will provided on the way, during this trip you can enjoy the fantastic view of the rice field , green hill and safanah with the back ground of the Flores ocean ,afternoon return to MONALISA for accommodation.
Day 05 : Lamboya Hiking ( 05 Hrs )
After breakfast at: 06.00 AM, we drive to Lamboya area to visit very traditional and authentic megalithic Marapu villages on hilltop. From here start a very pleasant walk crossing fields and coconut plantation and climb to enter Montedao (45 minute walking), Tokahale, Kahale and Malisu (from one village to another village with 20 minute walking). You are here out of the beaten paths and will experience Sumbanese hospitality as his best. Panorama from the top of hills is fantastic, you will watch their daily life, discover an anchor probably from Portuguese vessel, a holy house adorned with eight carved bird’s heads, one of the two horse which have to open Pasola Lamboya and perhaps we will meet one of the Rato who stay in Malisu village (mother village of an important clan). Return to Marosi beach for Lunch and swiming / Relax until afternoon return to the Hotel Monalisa for Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 06 : Waikabubak – Wunga – Prai Liang – Waingapu ( B,L,D )
After breakfast at hotel, drive to East sumba via Mamboro-lenang- Cave sasar,
( this trip will show the vantastic view of the savana and ocean with back ground of Flores island you can see from here, we follow north of sumba road ( Pantura ) arrival in Wunga and prai liang village which is set a top a hill overlooking the valley and river.( lunch box will provided on the spot ) After a walk of around 300 meters , pass through the spirit gate, and see stunning local style houses. This village is not specially set up for tourists – this is the way these people live their daily lives. With cool breezes and amazing views, we can easily understand why they choose to stay in this beautiful area. Afternoon continous to Hotel Elvin for dinner and overnight.
Day 07 : Waingapu – Pau – Rende – Mangili – Kalala Beach (B,L,D)
After breakfast, drive 62 kms to Melolo, on the way stop will made at Mau Jawa Vilage to see the local people Making Palm Wine Sugar ( only at dry sesaon ) then continuous to see the traditional villages of Pau and Rende, the royal tombs are made from the megalithic stone and its houses, where one of them the wall construction made from the Buffalo skin. Today we also visit Mangili and Kaliuda. Picnic lunch box will be served on the way. In the afternoon transfer to Kalala Beach Hotel (room without AC, no hot water) for checking in. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 08 : Kalala – Prai Padamu – Mau Maru – Tana Rara – Waingapu ( B,L,D)
After breakfast at Hotel, drive to Prai Padamu and Mau Maru Villages to see the old church and old grave of Dutch people for Long time ago at colonial time, their funeral here more than 10 people, also you can enjoy the fantastic view valley and savanna and live stock, horse and cows along the way. ( In this tour / Location, you can try for horse riding with local people with distance 1-5 km walking by the horse from one village to another village accompanied by your guide and local people ) this is will be your personal Expencess 01 Horse rent approximetly Rp. 150-200 Per horse).Picnic lunch will be served on the way. In the afternoon transfer to Waingapu, dinner and overnight at Hotel Elvin (AC Room, no hot water). (B,L,D)
Day 09 : Waingapu Half Day City Tours – Ikat Place ( B,L,D )
After breakfast at Hotel, Visit Old harbor of Waingapu, local market, kampung raja ( Prai Liu Village ) see the ikat process, lunch at local restaurant , return to Hotel free of your own leisure Dinner and overnight at Elvin Hotel.
Day 10 : Waingapu – Out ( B )
After breakfast at Hotel transfer to the airport for your next destination-Tours End.
